Living Energies 1
Although we have a physical body, who we are is a living energy that flows through the body as water flows through a riverbed. How is this energy that you are experienced by other people? Is there a way that you radiate that energy so that it will be experienced in a particular way by others? Is it possible to project our energy so that we are experienced before we arrive? Can we hold the energy back so that we are energetically invisible? Is there an attitude that we convey through our energy? Is it possible to communicate with someone only through the energy that we send them? Does something keep you from living fully the energy that you are?
In this workshop we will explore these issues both through journeys through the imagination and also through experimenting and interacting with each other.
Living Energies Workshop II
This is a continuation of the Living Energies Workshop that I offered in 2006, although it is not necessary to have taken the first part in order to attend this workshop.
In this second workshop we will focus primarily on the energies of the eyes and the ways we influence others and are ourselves influenced by human energies.
We learn that the eyes are for seeing but how deeply are we willing to see? Most people only look at the surface of things; is it possible to see the energies that vibrate beneath the surface? We learn that the energy of light enters the eye, registers on the retina, flows as an electric impulse along the optic nerve to the visual area of the brain and so we see. But is there also an energy that flows outward from the eye and that can be directed to influence others and possibly even physical events? Rupert Sheldrake in his recent book The Experience of Being Stared At (in German, Der siebte Sinn) explores evidence that we experience someone else's eyes even when they are looking at us from behind. Venturing into the wisdom of the Deep Imagination in this workshop, and interacting with each other, we will explore the energies of the eyes and our general ability to be aware of living energies and to harmonize them in ourselves.
This workshop will take place at Herberge in Unteröd, between Amerang and Wasserburg, beginning with dinner on April 8 at 6:30 PM and ending with lunch on April 13.
